Fa'asaleleaga, Administrative district of eastern Savai'i, Samoa

Fa'asaleleaga spans across the eastern portion of Savai'i island, encompassing 34 distinct settlements and covering an area with elevations reaching 227 meters.

The district's village of Sapapali'i marked a turning point in 1830 when John Williams arrived, introducing Christianity to Samoa through his meeting with Malietoa Vaiinupo.

The traditional capital Safotulafai hosts district chiefs and orators at Fuifatu malae, maintaining strong connections with the Malietoa lineage and Tuamasaga district.

Salelologa serves as the primary economic center of the district, featuring the main ferry terminal connecting Savai'i with Upolu through regular passenger and vehicle transport.

The district administration center in Tuasivi provides government services, including a hospital and courthouse, while Maota Airport handles regional air transportation needs.
