Natural thermal waters emerge from the ground at Termas de Cauquenes, offering multiple pools with temperatures reaching 45 degrees Celsius throughout the year.
The thermal center dates back to 1876, featuring original pine wood constructions and marble bathtubs from the nineteenth century still in use today.
The thermal waters continue the traditions of indigenous peoples who first discovered their healing properties before Spanish colonization of the region.
The facility stands 117 kilometers south of Santiago and 31 kilometers east of Rancagua, with regular bus services connecting these major cities.
The complex maintains its original Gothic architectural elements alongside two-century-old Carrara marble bathtubs and Spanish ceramic floor tiles.
