Estadio El Teniente features a capacity of 15,252 seats distributed across five distinct sections including Palco, Galería Angostura, Gradería Andes, Gradería Rengo, and Marquesina.
Originally named Estadio Braden Copper Co, the venue opened in 1947 and transferred to state ownership through Codelco Chile following the 1967 copper nationalization process.
The stadium serves as the home ground for O'Higgins football club and stands as a central gathering place for sports enthusiasts in the O'Higgins Region.
Visitors can reach the stadium via regular bus services, with Terminal O'Higgins situated approximately 1.05 miles from the sports facility.
The facility hosted seven matches during the 1962 FIFA World Cup after being selected as an alternative venue following the 1960 Valdivia earthquake damage to other locations.
