Parque Bernardo Leighton, Urban park in Estación Central, Chile

Parque Bernardo Leighton is an urban park in Santiago's western district with walking paths, fitness stations, and children's playgrounds throughout its landscaped grounds. The different areas flow together, making it easy to explore the entire space.

The park opened in 1996 on a former landfill and on a small artificial hill formed by soil from excavations for Line 1 of the Santiago Metro. It was named after Bernardo Leighton, a Christian Democrat who was a deputy and minister under several Chilean presidents. In 2021, after a year of work by muralists, the Circuito Patrimonial de Nogales en Estación Central was inaugurated, starting with a mural on the main entrance.
