Museo Colección Jedimar, Automobile museum in Estación Central, Chile.
Museo Colección Jedimar is an automobile museum in Estación Central that displays about 150 vehicles in a former factory building. The collection includes cars, trucks, and buses from different decades, arranged so visitors can walk through and see how vehicles changed over time.
The collection started in the 1960s with a small group of vehicles and grew through the passion of collectors for automobiles. This project later led to the founding of a club dedicated to preserving and celebrating classic vehicles.
The collection shows how people drove and traveled across South America over the decades, revealing changes in daily mobility and life. The vehicles displayed tell stories about what mattered to drivers and communities during different periods.
The building is easy to reach on foot and has large entrances for different visitor groups. Inside, you can walk at your own pace and view the vehicles up close since everything is arranged on one level.
The building itself was once a factory and still keeps its original industrial character, adding an extra layer to the visit. The massive structures and large halls provide an industrial setting that complements the vehicles on display.
