Parque Santa Mónica, Public park in Recoleta, Chile
The seven-hectare Parque Santa Mónica contains an artificial lake at its center, surrounded by palm trees and exercise equipment for fitness activities.
Established in 1993, the park was developed as part of Chile's Ministry of Housing and Urban Development program to create green spaces in Santiago.
Local residents gather at Parque Santa Mónica for Sunday morning rugby games and regular community fitness sessions throughout the week.
Located at Avenida Los Zapadores 1190 and Guanaco Street, the park remains open year-round with PARQUEMET maintaining its facilities.
The park features a combination of exercise machines and natural elements, including an artificial lake that serves as a central point.
