Obras Sanitarias Arena

Obras Sanitarias Arena is an enclosed hall in Núñez used for both basketball games and concerts. The arrangement of seats and stage adapts depending on the event, with music performances creating space for additional visitors.

The hall opened in June 1978 and hosted international basketball tournaments in the following years. A local club won the continental cup there in 1983, cementing the importance of this venue in Argentine sport.

The name recalls the former water company that once operated on this site. During concerts, musicians appreciate the acoustics and proximity to the audience, while sports fans value the atmosphere inside the compact hall.

Multiple entrances distribute visitor flow during large events, and signposted areas help with orientation inside the hall. Beverage and snack stands are located at several points, so longer waiting times can usually be avoided.

The hall carried the name of a soft drink brand between 2006 and 2012, which was still uncommon for sports venues in Argentina at the time. During this period, numerous rock festivals took place, turning the site into a recurring meeting point for music fans.
