Centro Cultural España-Córdoba, Cultural center in Córdoba, Argentina.
Centro Cultural España-Córdoba is a cultural center housed in a three-courtyard building with Romanesque architectural elements, located at Entre Ríos 40 in downtown Córdoba. The center offers exhibitions, performances, workshops, and a research library called Mediateca.
The building was constructed in 1871 by the Garzón Maceda family and was transformed into a cultural institution in 1998 through Spanish-Argentine cooperation. This conversion marked the beginning of its role as a center for artistic and cultural activities.
The center presents Spanish and American artistic traditions through exhibitions and events that mainly feature contemporary works by emerging creators. Visitors can discover various artistic directions here that reflect dialogue between both cultures.
The center welcomes visitors on most weekdays with free access to exhibitions and the Mediateca library. It is advisable to check exact opening hours as these may vary depending on the season or special events.
Radio Eterogenia, the center's own digital radio station, broadcasts cultural content 24 hours a day and connects it with a network of Spanish cultural institutions worldwide. This continuous broadcast makes it a unique cultural communication hub in the region.
