Marquis of Sobremonte provincial historical museum, Colonial history museum in central Córdoba, Argentina
The museum occupies a residence from 1752 featuring traditional lime walls, adobe masonry, and colonial-style roof tiles throughout its architecture.
Rafael de Sobremonte, who served as mayor of Córdoba del Tucumán, lived in this building from 1783 to 1796 during his administration.
The museum exhibits period furniture and objects that demonstrate the daily life of Argentine society during the colonial period.
Located at Rosario de Santa Fe 218, the museum operates Tuesday through Sunday with free admission every Wednesday and regular entry at 15 Argentine pesos.
This structure remains the sole preserved residential building from the colonial period in modern Córdoba, featuring original creole tile floors and stone courtyards.
