The building, inaugurated on April 8, 2014, replaced previous legislative venues including the former governor Juan Felipe Ibarra's house from 1826.
The structure integrates the restored metal water tank from the former National Sanitary Works building into its multipurpose room design.
Located at the corner of Avenida Roca and Patagonia, the building includes administrative offices, a session hall, and a library.
The construction cost reached 60 million Argentine pesos and features two unifying porticos that organize the different exterior volume levels.
