Timoteo Navarro Museum of Art

The Timoteo Navarro Museum of Art houses over 680 works including paintings, sketches, lithographs, ceramics, sculptures, illustrated poems, and photographs in its collection.

The museum opened in 1916 as part of the National University of Tucumán's School of Fine Arts before becoming an independent institution in 1922.

The collection features works by notable Argentine artists such as Antonio Berni, Pompeyo Audivert, Benito Quinquela Martín, and Lino Enea Spilimbergo.

Visitors can explore the museum from Tuesday to Friday between 09:00-12:30 and 15:30-19:30, with weekend hours from 15:30-19:30.

The main exhibition hall spans 400 square meters beneath a two-story ceiling with a glass and iron skylight supported by wrought-iron pillars.
