The structure stands 38.2 meters tall and contains 2,587 square meters of floor space, featuring native sienna white granite from Espirito Santo.
The temple opened its doors on June 1, 2008, as the fifth Mormon temple in Brazil and the 126th operational temple of the Church worldwide.
The temple dedication celebration at Arena da Baixada featured 4,330 participants performing Brazilian music, dance, and historical narratives.
Located at Rua Deputado Heitor Alencar Furtado 3641, the temple serves members across 29 stakes in the states of Parana and Santa Catarina.
The temple grounds span 3.3 hectares and include water features, gardens, and specific architectural elements culminating in an angel Moroni statue.
