Teatro Positivo

Teatro Positivo is a theater building on the campus of Universidade Positivo in Curitiba with multiple performance spaces. It contains a main auditorium with seating for about 2,400 people, a smaller auditorium, and private boxes, along with supporting rooms and entrance areas.

The building was designed in 2008 by architect Manoel Coelho with inspiration drawn from classical Greek theater design. It reflects a modern interpretation of traditional amphitheater concepts adapted for contemporary performance needs.

The theater serves as a cultural meeting place where music, dance, and theater productions are presented throughout the year. These events attract both university students and the wider community to experience performing arts.

The building's facade combines concrete, glass, and white ceramic tiles with red sandstone sourced from the Paraná region. This material choice gives the structure a distinctive local character that connects it to the surrounding landscape.
