Basilica Minor Our Lady of the Rosary of Fatima, Minor basilica on the Cotia–Embu das Artes boundary, São Paulo state, Brazil

Basilica Minor Our Lady of the Rosary of Fatima is a church building in Cotia featuring white walls and traditional Brazilian architectural design. The complex includes chapels, prayer spaces, and outdoor grounds for visitors to explore.

Monsignor João Scognamiglio Clá Dias, founder of the Heralds of the Gospel, launched the project in 2004 with the blessing and laying of the foundation stone. The church was solemnly dedicated on 11 May 2014 by Bishop Luís Antônio Guedes of Campo Limpo, with bishops Emilio Pignoli and Benedito Beni dos Santos present. On 31 May 2014 the Holy See raised it to the rank of minor basilica.

The basilica is run by the Heralds of the Gospel, a clerical society of apostolic life, Virgo Flos Carmeli, which provides its pastoral care. Its bells, inaugurated on 25 January 2015, were the first French Fonderie Paccard bells installed in Brazil. The church stands on the boundary between Cotia and Embu das Artes, so both municipalities share the site.

The church is easily reached by bus or car from São Paulo and welcomes visitors during regular daytime hours. It is helpful to check opening times in advance, as access may be limited during service times.

The bells, inaugurated on 25 January 2015, were the first cast by the French foundry Fonderie Paccard to be installed in Brazil. The basilica stands on the boundary line between Cotia and Embu das Artes, so its grounds straddle two municipalities.
