Faculty of Public Health, University of São Paulo

The Faculty of Public Health contains five departments focusing on environmental health, epidemiology, maternal health, nutrition, and public health practices.

The institution began as the Hygiene Laboratory in 1918 through an agreement between São Paulo State Government and the Rockefeller Foundation.

The Faculty serves as a national center for public health education, training professionals who develop health policies across Brazil.

Students can pursue undergraduate degrees in Public Health and Nutrition, along with five graduate programs including Master and PhD levels.

The Faculty established the first primary care center in Brazil, which became a reference model for medical and engineering professionals.
