Ibatiba

Ibatiba is a municipality in Espírito Santo, southeastern Brazil, situated in a mountainous region. The town developed around agricultural activity and retains the character of a rural settlement with various public services for its residents.

The municipality was established in 1981 after farmers were drawn to the fertile lands of the region. This settlement built upon routes and traditions that cattle drivers had established over generations in the hills.
