Cachoeira Iracema

Cachoeira Iracema is a waterfall in Presidente Figueiredo that drops through dense forest vegetation, forming several natural pools at different levels. The water has carved rock formations that create a series of cascading basins throughout the site.

The waterfall region became known to outsiders during 19th-century exploration when travelers mapped the Amazon area for natural resources. These early expeditions led to the first recorded awareness of the falls and its surroundings.
