Praia do Flamengo

Praia do Flamengo is a beach in Stella Maris with pale yellow sand that stretches along the Atlantic coastline and is lined with coconut palms. Rock formations in the water create natural pools and coves that divide the sea into different zones.

The area underwent transformation through municipal improvements beginning in 2015 that added new walking paths and green spaces along the shore. These enhancements changed the beach's appearance and created better conditions for visitors and residents.

The beach brings together locals and visitors who come to swim, surf, and enjoy water activities throughout the year. You will see families gathering in groups, friends playing beach games, and fishermen casting their lines into the water.

The location is easy to reach and provides ample parking for visitors arriving by car. Along the shore you will find several restaurants and bars where you can eat and drink while enjoying the water.

At low tide natural swimming pools form in the rock crevices, especially during full and new moons when the water level drops significantly. These pools offer calm water and good conditions for observing marine life.
