Museum of Sound and Image of Alagoas

The Museum of Sound and Image of Alagoas is a collection of photographs, records, digital videos, and vintage audiovisual equipment in Maceió. The collection documents how people, places, and artists from the region were captured over the decades.

The institution was founded in 1981 and later underwent significant renovation to preserve the heritage building. These improvements allowed the collections to grow and become more accessible to visitors.
