Museu Palácio Floriano Peixoto, Historic museum in central Maceió, Brazil.
The Floriano Peixoto Palace Museum displays furniture from the 19th and 20th centuries, along with silverware, crystals, and decorative objects throughout its rooms.
The palace construction started in 1893 under military engineer Carlos Jorge Calheiros de Lima and was officially inaugurated as a government seat in 1902.
The museum exhibits 21 paintings by Alagoan artists, including works by Rosalvo Ribeiro, who received recognition in both Brazil and France exhibitions.
Located at Praça Marechal Floriano Peixoto, the museum opens Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM with free admission and guided tours upon request.
The Noble Hall contains original antique furniture and sculptures representing themes of justice, farming, and commerce within its architectural design.
