Aliança

Aliança is a municipality in Pernambuco in northeastern Brazil covering 272 square kilometers. The area sits at an elevation of 114 meters and is crossed by river systems that shape the landscape.

The settlement began in the 19th century when three brothers founded a community and established their base there. The area gained its official status as a municipality in 1928.
