Kings Park Stadium is a rugby union ground in the Kings Park Sporting Precinct in Durban, home of the Sharks. Its current capacity is 46,000, reduced from 54,000 during renovations; the stadium opened in 1958 with 12,000 places and was rebuilt for the 1995 Rugby World Cup. It also hosts Durban Premier Soccer League clubs and football finals.

The stadium opened in 1958 with an initial capacity of around 12,000 seats. Extensive renovations in the 1980s significantly expanded its seating capacity to meet growing demand.

The venue is known locally as the Shark Tank and serves as home to the Sharks rugby team competing in the United Rugby Championship and Currie Cup. Fans create an intense energy when matches take place here.

Kings Park sits in the Kings Park Sporting Precinct, under 200 m from Moses Mabhida Stadium and under a kilometre from the Indian Ocean. The Sharks hold a 50-year lease on the ground running to 2056, so fixtures stay here rather than moving next door. Allow time to walk between the two stadiums on match days.

Kings Park hosted the first match of South Africa's national football team after the country's readmission to world sport in 1992, a 1-0 win over Cameroon. The stadium also staged a Celine Dion concert in February 2008 during her world tour.
