Access to Moltkeblick requires advance permission from River Crossing Lodge, located seven kilometers from the mountain base, as the area sits on private land.
Mountain zebras and rock dassies inhabit the slopes of Moltkeblick, making regular appearances during the ascent to the mountain's peak.
