Palace of Justice, Historic courthouse in Church Square, Pretoria, South Africa.

The Palace of Justice features neo-Renaissance architecture with intricate stonework, polished wood interiors, brass fixtures, and stained glass windows throughout the building.

Dutch architect Sytze Wierda designed the Palace of Justice, with the foundation stone placed by President Paul Kruger on June 8, 1897, at a cost of £115,260.

The Palace of Justice gained prominence as the location of the Rivonia Trial, where Nelson Mandela and other African National Congress members faced charges.
