Mahamasina Municipal Stadium

Mahamasina Municipal Stadium is a sports facility in Antananarivo that features a natural grass pitch measuring 105 by 68 meters with seating for over 40,000 spectators. The grounds include multiple grandstand sections and are equipped with modern safety features such as surveillance systems and fire protection infrastructure.

This location holds deep historical significance as the site where King Radama II's crown was placed in 1861 and where Madagascar's declaration of independence took place in 1960. These two major events established this place as a symbol of the nation's political turning points.
