Dhilba Guuranda-Innes National Park

The national park extends across 94 square kilometers of coastline, featuring sandy beaches, steep cliffs, and diverse wildlife habitats along the Spencer Gulf.

Established in 1970, the area transformed from a gypsum mining settlement centered around the town of Inneston to a protected environmental zone.

The Narungga people, consisting of four clans, maintained deep connections to this land through generations before European settlement began in 1846.

Visitors can access multiple camping grounds at Stenhouse Bay, Cable Bay, Pondalowie Bay, and Shell Beach through standard vehicles on maintained roads.

The park contains living stromatolites, which are ancient layers of blue-green algae formations that provide insights into early life on Earth.
