Seal Bay Conservation Park

The coastal conservation area stretches over 63 square kilometers along the south coast, including beach zones and coastal vegetation sections.

The protection of sea lions at this location began in 1954 after the Field Naturalists section of the Royal Society highlighted the need for conservation.

The park serves as an educational center where rangers share knowledge about Australian sea lion behavior and marine ecosystem preservation techniques.

Visitors can access the sea lion colony exclusively through scheduled guided tours, with departures running multiple times throughout the day.

The park contains the third largest colony of Australian sea lions, with approximately 1000 individuals residing permanently on its beaches.
