140 St Georges Terrace, Modern skyscraper in Central Business District, Perth, Australia
The 30-story glass and steel structure rises 131 meters above St Georges Terrace, offering office spaces with views of Perth's skyline.
Completed in 1975, this tower replaced the 1915 AMP Chambers building and held the title of Perth's tallest structure until Allendale Square surpassed it in 1976.
A bronze statue weighing 910 kilograms depicting family values stood atop the original AMP Chambers before being relocated to Herdsman Lake.
The building contains fourteen elevators, 260 parking spaces, and 29,800 square meters of office area with modern amenities including a tenant gymnasium.
The structural design features a service core with perimeter columns, allowing for open floor layouts without internal support pillars throughout most office spaces.
