Polda Metro Jaya, Bus rapid transit station in Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Jakarta, Indonesia
Polda Metro Jaya is a Transjakarta station on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman in Senayan, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, the northernmost station in that city. Its 2019 building has three docks on each side of the platform, fitted with half-height platform doors like the extensions on Corridors 2 and 5. After the 2025 fire the walls and platform doors were replaced by simple black railings, with ceramic floor tiles and Tap-on-Bus machines at the front.
The station opened in 2004 with a tall, densely walled design and three docks on each platform side. In 2014 it was moved north to clear space for Jakarta MRT construction, and the replacement building opened on 14 April 2019 with a wider, more open structure and half-height platform doors. On 29 August 2025 rioters burned the station during a demonstration outside Polda Metro Jaya headquarters; after intensive renovation it reopened on 8 September 2025.
The station serves as a connection point between residential areas and major cultural facilities, including the Gelora Bung Karno sports complex.
The station is served by multiple Transjakarta corridors and offers straightforward access for passengers. Platform safety doors help passengers board and exit safely.
On 29 August 2025, rioters burned the station during a demonstration outside Polda Metro Jaya headquarters; a water cannon behind the police barricade was used to put out the fire. The station reopened on 8 September 2025 after intensive renovation, but lost its wall facades and platform doors, replaced by simple black railings, with Tap-on-Bus machines at the front.
