Polda Metro Jaya, Bus rapid transit station in Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Jakarta, Indonesia
Polda Metro Jaya is a Transjakarta bus rapid transit station on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman with boarding platforms on each side of the corridor. A pedestrian bridge links the station to surrounding buildings and Jakarta Police Headquarters.
The station opened in 2004 and moved northward in 2014 to make room for the Jakarta MRT construction. This relocation was part of a larger effort to modernize public transportation in South Jakarta.
The station serves as a connection point between residential areas and major cultural facilities, including the Gelora Bung Karno sports complex.
The station is served by multiple Transjakarta corridors and offers straightforward access for passengers. Platform safety doors help passengers board and exit safely.
After a 2019 renovation, the station received modern design updates while keeping its role as a transfer point for many routes. Its location near Police Headquarters makes it a known landmark in the area.
