Rawalumbu, Administrative district in Bekasi City, Indonesia.
Rawalumbu is an administrative district in Bekasi City, comprising four urban villages that form the main communities here. The neighborhoods of Bojong Rawalumbu, Pengasinan, Sepanjang Jaya, and Bojong Menteng together make up the entire district.
The area became a separate administrative district in 2000 following a major decentralization reform that gave more authority to regional governments. Before this change, it was part of the neighboring East Bekasi district.
The district houses residents from multiple ethnic backgrounds and religious communities, with numerous mosques, churches, and temples distributed throughout its neighborhoods.
Each of the four villages has its own postal code, making it easier to locate specific addresses and neighborhoods. Knowing these codes helps when navigating or identifying different parts of the district.
Population data from 2023 shows near-perfect gender distribution with 111,408 males and 110,990 females residing in the district.
