Museum Pendidikan Nasional Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia

The Museum Pendidikan Nasional is a five-story building in Bandung dedicated to the history and development of Indonesian schooling. The exhibitions use artifacts, photographs, and interactive displays to document various aspects of teaching and educational institutions.

The museum was founded in 2015 and documents how Indonesian education transformed from colonial times through independence. With backing from the West Java Governor, the collection preserves this significant period of change.

The exhibits showcase teaching approaches and student uniforms from different eras, showing how schooling has evolved across Indonesia. Visitors can observe the objects and practices that shaped learning in classrooms over time.

The museum is housed in a school building and is best visited during regular school hours. Admission is affordable, and since exhibits are spread across multiple floors, plan enough time to see everything.

The fourth floor displays life-size wax figures showing how the teaching profession has evolved in Indonesia. These representations offer visitors a tangible sense of how teaching roles have changed.
