The Sunan Drajat Museum in Lamongan displays bronze artifacts, ceramics, teak wood items, textiles, and traditional musical instruments from the region. This collection offers insight into the craftsmanship and material culture of East Java.

The museum was established in the early 1990s and stands beside the mausoleum of Sunan Drajat, an influential Islamic teacher. This location honors his legacy in the spiritual history of East Java.

The gamelan Singo Mengkok, used by Sunan Drajat for his preaching in Paciran, is played to accompany the Pangkur song he composed, whose verses carry Qur'anic content. Its carved lion figure, seated as if ready to pounce, mixes Hindu-Buddhist and Islamic elements, since the surrounding community was Hindu; the name stands for wisdom, gentleness, desire and human perfection.

The museum is located in Drajat in Paciran district and welcomes visitors daily without an entrance fee. It is best to arrive in the morning to explore the collection in a quieter setting.

The collection includes ancient palm leaves inscribed with the Letter of Yusuf in Javanese script, a rare blend of Islamic texts and local writing traditions. These manuscripts reveal how religious teachings were woven into existing cultural practices.
