Mawson Lakes is a residential suburb in the City of Salisbury featuring modern housing areas, commercial zones, and educational facilities organized around a large central lake. The area was systematically planned from the mid-1990s onward and continues to develop as a mixed-use zone combining residential, employment, and recreational spaces.

Within the area lies Technology Park Adelaide, a research and development zone specializing in defense and aerospace technologies. The park was among the first of its kind in Australia and continues to draw companies and innovators.
