Founded in 1937 as Freemasons Hospital, it was created to advance healthcare through the support of Victorian Freemasonry. Major renovations in 1956 expanded its capacity and modernized its operations.
The hospital was established by Freemasons as an expression of their commitment to community health. Today, it continues to serve as a teaching and research hub for multiple universities in the region.
