Massey Memorial

Massey Memorial is a marble monument on Point Halswell in Wellington consisting of seven columns arranged in a semicircle. A marble pathway leads from this colonnade down to an underground chamber situated beneath a central dome.

Completed in 1930, the memorial honors William Ferguson Massey who served as Prime Minister from 1912 until his death in 1925. His lengthy tenure shaped a transformative period in the nation's development.
