The Eternity Playhouse houses a 200-seat theatre within a converted historical building on Burton Street in the heart of Sydney's arts district.
Founded in 1993 as a drama school, the theatre company operated in multiple locations before settling in its current venue, a former church building, in 2013.
The theatre presented Festival Fatale from 2016 to 2018, an annual celebration dedicated to female performers and creators in Australian performing arts.
The theatre remained active until June 2024, when financial challenges led to its placement under voluntary administration after three decades of operation.
Throughout its history, the venue transformed from a place of worship to an educational institution and finally into a professional performance space.
