Built in 1968 and designed by architect Karl Langer, the chapel stands on land formerly known as Ross Roy estate, purchased by the Lutheran Church in 1944.
The chapel combines European modernist design with traditional Lutheran principles, reflecting the evolution of Christian liturgies in Queensland from 1950 to 1970.
Located at 66 Harts Road, the chapel hosts regular worship services, school assemblies, performances, and ceremonies for both students and the local Lutheran parish.
The fan-shaped main worship space incorporates natural light through specific architectural elements while maintaining connections with the adjacent library building.
