The Regatta Hotel stands prominently on the Brisbane River with four stories and iron-laced verandahs, serving as a riverside meeting point since 1874.
Richard Gailey designed this Victorian-era establishment, which endured multiple floods and fires throughout its existence while maintaining its architectural character.
The venue played a central role in early feminist movements and has become a gathering place where generations of Brisbane residents create lasting memories.
Visitors can access multiple dining spaces including The Boatshed, The Main Bar, and an underground bar, with a dedicated CityCat terminal for river transportation.
Following the 2011 floods, the hotel underwent a complete restoration valued at 10 million dollars while preserving its historical features.
