Sea Life Sunshine Coast, Marine life center in Mooloolaba, Australia
Sea Life Sunshine Coast contains eleven animal zones across three levels, featuring an 80-meter ocean tunnel with sharks, rays, and tropical fish.
The facility opened in 1989 as UnderWater World and underwent a 6.5 million dollar renovation before becoming Sea Life Centre in December 2013.
The marine park serves as a rehabilitation center for injured marine animals, contributing to wildlife preservation and environmental education initiatives.
The center operates daily from 9 AM to 3 PM during regular periods and extends hours to 5 PM during Queensland school holidays.
Visitors can observe six seals, including Long-nosed fur seals and an Australian sea lion, through specialized viewing areas at Seal Island.
