Caloundra Lighthouses, Heritage lighthouses on Kings Beach in Caloundra, Australia.

Caloundra Lighthouses comprise two structures at Kings Beach: a timber-framed building from 1896 and a concrete tower built in 1968 at Canberra Terrace. These two structures represent different eras of coastal safety and navigation assistance.

The original lighthouse was built in 1896 to guide ships safely through the North West Channel into Moreton Bay and toward Brisbane's port. An upgrade to its light apparatus in 1910 made it one of the strongest coastal beacons in Queensland.

The original lighthouse building served multiple roles for the community, functioning as the area's first school and post office. This multipurpose use shows how central the site was to the early development of the region.

The site can be visited through guided tours offered by the Friends of Caloundra Lighthouses organization. Visitors should check ahead since tours run at set times and coastal weather can affect accessibility.

After its modernization in 1910, the 1896 structure became one of the region's most powerful navigation lights for many years. This technical improvement made the site a leading beacon for ships along the coast.
