Glass House Mountains National Park

Eleven volcanic mountains rise from the Queensland landscape, forming a collection of peaks surrounded by pine forests and agricultural fields.

The mountains originated from volcanic activity 25 million years ago, when molten rock solidified into vertical formations that stand today.

The Kabi Kabi and Jinibara peoples maintain strong connections to this area, which contains numerous protected ceremonial locations.

The Mount Ngungun trail extends 2.8 kilometers through the forest and provides clear views of Mount Tibrogargan, Mount Coonowrin, and Mount Beerwah.

The park contains the world's only certified organic camel dairy farm, offering visitors opportunities to interact with camels while observing the mountains.
