Tripcony Hibiscus Caravan Park

The Tripcony Hibiscus Caravan Park is a heritage-listed facility in Caloundra, Queensland that stretches along Pumicestone Creek with native cotton trees providing natural shade across the camping grounds. The site offers direct access to fishing spots, kayaking opportunities, and multiple walking trails throughout the surrounding area.

The site began as a Wharf and Water Reserve in 1877 but was re-designated for recreation in 1912 as a camping destination. This shift from industrial use to leisure grounds shaped its long-term purpose as a public retreat.
