Rewa Bridge, Road bridge over Rewa River in Fiji

The Rewa Bridge is a four-lane concrete girder road bridge over the Rewa River between Suva and Nausori. It is 425 metres long, with seven internal spans of 49.5 m and end spans of 39.25 m, and is the longest bridge in Fiji.

The current bridge was built by Fletcher Construction for the Fijian government between October 2003 and August 2006, funded by a partnership of the European Union and Fiji, at a cost of FJ$29.7 million. It replaced a 60-year-old steel bridge that had become structurally unsound. In 2011 the old bridge still stood; the Ministry of Works then allocated FJ$1 million to dismantle it so the materials could serve other bridges in the country.

The European Union partnered with the Fijian government to fund this concrete bridge, marking a significant step in regional infrastructure development.

The bridge carries four lanes of road traffic between Suva and Nausori, with a footpath alongside for pedestrians. It is the only crossing of the Rewa River at this point, so plan for queues at peak commute times. The old steel bridge stood nearby until 2011, when it was dismantled.

The old Rewa Bridge, a 60-year-old steel structure replaced by the new crossing, was still standing in 2011. That year Fiji's Ministry of Works set aside FJ$1 million to dismantle it so the materials could be reused on other bridges in the country; Nausori Town Council had proposed turning it into a flea market.
