Sea Life Park, Marine theme park in Waimānalo, United States
Sea Life Park is a marine theme park in Waimānalo featuring large tanks and multiple exhibit areas. The grounds display dolphins, sea lions, penguins, and Hawaiian green sea turtles throughout the property.
The park opened in 1964 and grew into a marine conservation and education center. In 2008, it came under management by Palace Entertainment.
The park features daily shows at the Dolphin Lagoon that weave traditional Hawaiian elements into marine education. Visitors see how local culture connects with ocean animal protection here.
You can join animal encounters and watch educational presentations about marine species as you move through the exhibit areas. The grounds are easy to explore on foot and offer shaded spots and rest areas for guests.
The park has returned more than 17,000 Hawaiian green sea turtles to the waters around the islands. This breeding and release work forms a major part of the conservation effort happening on-site.
