H2Oasis Indoor Waterpark

H2Oasis Indoor Waterpark is an indoor water park in Anchorage featuring multiple pool areas and water attractions. The facility includes a wave pool, a long lazy river channel, and several water slide varieties.

The facility opened in 2003 as Alaska's first indoor aquatic recreation center and was built to meet a community need. Its creation addressed the demand for year-round water activities in a region with long, cold seasons.

This facility serves as a social gathering place where local families spend time together during the long winter season when outdoor water activities are impossible. Visitors come here to enjoy water recreation and connect with others in their community.

The indoor area is heated year-round to around 86 degrees Fahrenheit, making it comfortable for swimming regardless of outdoor conditions. Visitors should bring swimwear, towels, and water shoes if desired, and should be cautious on wet surfaces.

The facility contains roughly 350,000 gallons of water and generates waves up to 4 feet (1.2 m) high in its wave pool system. This technical capability delivers an authentic wave pool experience even though everything is enclosed indoors.
