Kincaid Park, Municipal park in Anchorage, United States
The 1,500-acre park contains rolling hills covered in dense forest, offering numerous trails for outdoor activities throughout all four seasons.
The park occupies the grounds of a former Cold War missile base, transforming military infrastructure into recreational spaces for public use.
The park hosts national competitions for Nordic skiing events, including selections for United States Olympic teams and the Alaska Ski for Women race.
Visitors can access the Kincaid Outdoor Center at the west end of Raspberry Road, with facilities open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
The trail system includes 60 kilometers of paths with 20 kilometers of illuminated routes, connecting to the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail.
