Estadio Arena Cora is a multi-use stadium on the outskirts of Tepic, Nayarit, between the villages of Camichín de Jauja and La Cantera, about 25 minutes from the historic centre. It has two main access points and an eight-lane athletics track around the football pitch. Capacity figures differ between sources: 12,945 in the Spanish article and 12,271 in the English one.

The stadium was built in 2010 and opened in 2011, at a time when Tepic needed a modern sports venue to support the region's growing football scene. It has since gone through several upgrades to meet the demands of professional play.

Since 2024 the ground has been home to Tigres de Álica FC of Liga Premier Serie A; before that, Coras FC played here in Ascenso MX from 2014, reaching the final of the Apertura 2014 and losing to Necaxa. The club left Tepic in March 2017 and became Club Atlético Zacatepec. On 20 November 2017 the stadium was renamed Estadio Nicolás Álvarez Ortega during the state sports award ceremony.

The stadium sits on the outskirts of Tepic and is reachable by car or local bus. On match days, arriving early is a good idea since the roads nearby can get busy.

The stadium was renamed Estadio Nicolás Álvarez Ortega on 20 November 2017 by governor Antonio Echevarría García during the Premio Estatal del Deporte ceremony. Its first goal was scored by Raúl Nava in the 22nd minute of the 25 June 2011 friendly between Guadalajara and Toluca, refereed by World Cup official Marco Antonio Rodríguez.
