The Wilshire Grand Center is a skyscraper in Downtown Los Angeles with 73 stories and a height of 1100 feet (335 meters). The tower houses a hotel, office space, and several restaurants and retail establishments.
The site held the Hotel Statler from 1952, which underwent several transformations. In 2017, it became the tallest skyscraper west of Chicago.
The LED-illuminated sail-shaped crown creates light displays that contribute to Los Angeles' nighttime identity and modern architectural character.
The InterContinental Hotel spans several floors with 889 rooms and its reception is located on the 70th story. The office levels occupy 17 floors in the middle section of the tower.
