The Fleet Science Center contains eight galleries with interactive exhibits covering various scientific disciplines, alongside a 76-foot-diameter tilted planetarium dome.
The center opened in 1973 as the first institution to combine interactive science exhibits with both a planetarium and IMAX Dome theater under one roof.
